About the course

Learn the Five Animals Qigong routine!

The Five Animals Play (Wuqinxi) is a traditional Qigong sequence of five animal movements: Tiger, Deer, Monkey, Bear & Bird. Each has its own characteristic and quality of movement.

In practicing these movements the body & Qi is trained to embody these qualities. From the spontaneous, sinuous movements of the Tiger to the extended and balanced movements of the Bird/Crane, this sequence develops the Qi and the channels in five unique ways.

This is a self-directed course, allowing you to learn at your own pace. Each lesson is 50-60 mins, and includes a Qigong warm-up routine, step-by-step instruction for each of the animal movements, discussion of Qigong theory related to the Five Animals and sitting meditation practice..
